Since many years, our club has had an international touch. Several of our members come from abroad, but live in and Brussels either permanently or for a few years. Also, many of us are used to travel through Europe every summer to practise our favorite sport.

We have therefore responded enthusiastically to the initiative of King Baudouin foundation aimed at promoting the interaction between expats and local organisations.

Orienteering is an attractive sport, providing fun and challenge in a family atmosphere and a natural setting. It is accessible to all ages, whether in competition or for leisure.

Our club is inviting you to discover orienteering. We organise trainings every Friday evening in and around Brussels. This year, during some of the training & initiation sessions, we provide a special welcome to expats with an opportunity for initiation in different languages : come and join us on Friday May 6th, June 3rd and 17th, and September 2nd 2011 at 18.00 h.

Also for those who are interested to participate in an orienteering competition we have something on offer during the 3 days of the Soignes Forest (November 11-13th, 2011). We provide a special welcome followed by a drink to expats on Friday November 11th, 2011.

Of course, once you have discovered orienteering, you may want to continue practising it. We warmly welcome new members at ASUB-Orienteering and invite you to participate to our Club day in November which includes our legendary Club Championship and a dinner.
