Ever since September 1999, physical training sessions for the club's younger members have been organised every Tuesday evening at the Trois Tilleuls Stadium, in agreement with the athletics section of the Royal Racing Club of Brussels (RRCB) and under the guidance of Georges Dicker and Robert Hoofd.
The sessions run from 6.30 to 8.15 p.m. and are open to girls and boys of 12 and over.
The programme always includes a warm up (30 minutes of jogging - stretching - GPP* - sprints), track interval work adapted to orienteering and a return to calm.
* General Physical Preparation
Participants also receive a monthly training plan drawn up in consultation with Robert, giving advice for their preparation during the rest of the week. There is a very good atmosphere at these training sessions, whose cost is met by the club.
Those who so wish may join the RRCB under favourable conditions to take part in track, road or cross-country races.
Further information is available from Georges Dicker (tel. 02/731 67 99) or Robert Hoofd (tel. 0498 03 76 34).
We look forward to seeing you at the Trois Tilleuls Stadium one of these Tuesdays!
Robert HOOFD
